T. F. Green Airport, also known as Theodore Francis Green State Airport, is a public airport located in Warwick, six miles (10 km) south of Providence, in Kent County, Rhode Island, USA. Massport has been promoting T.F. Green as an alternative to Boston's Logan International Airport, as delays and wait time are minimal. The airport's expansion is limited, as it is surrounded by residential homes. It is the largest and most active airport among the six operated by the Rhode Island Airport Corporation. The Theodore Francis Green State Airport is much smaller than most major airports and in 2006 had over two million enplanements. The relation between size and traffic is still significant and has made airport parking more limited over the years, as well as more expensive.
